8.2 Over Voltage Protection
A new feature found on the –xM board is the overvoltage protection circuit. The primary
function of this circuit it to prevent voltage levels in excess of the specification from
reaching other circuitry on the board and causing damage to the board. Figure 21 is the
diagram of the circuitry design.
